In 2002, at just 16 years of age, Megan Jefferson started her dog training career as a CPT apprentice trainer. She started by observing CPT Trainer Lisa Carroll, a neighbor of her parents. Megan then formally entered the CPT apprentice program.
Megan apprenticed for two years, then graduated to become a CPT Trainer. As a young adult, she first worked in conjunction with her parents, Mike and Teresa. However, since her 2009 marriage to Caleb Jefferson she has worked independently.
Soon after their marriage, Megan and Caleb purchased 3 acres of pristine pastoral property in Flowery Branch. The property provides an excellent environment for CPT board train dogs.
Megan is close to achieving her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bethany Bible College. She owns a Great Dane, Torino, a Bloodhound, Yeager, and a cat, Tripoli. Megan and Caleb added a son to the family in 2013 and a daughter in 2016. Megan plans on training Yeager for tracking and trailing purposes. Her bubbly personality and excellent work ethic make Megan Jefferson highly popular with CPT clients.
Megan Jefferson performs Boarding and Board Train services for CPT.
