CPT Trainers Perform Demonstration at Animal Medical Center of Coming
On Wednesday, January 11, CPT Trainers Mark Spivak and Karen Smalley appeared at Dr. Mike McLaughlin’s Animal Medical Center of Cumming. Mark and Karen first explained CPT’s history and services, then progressed to assisting AMC’s staff in resolving their pets’ housebreaking, household manners, behavioral, and obedience problems. The staff appreciated the insights of CPT’s professional trainers as well as CPT’s cognitive, personalized emphasis. Consequently, AMC’s staff now can speak more knowledgably and confidently when recommending CPT for improving their clients’ behavioral and obedience issues.
The highlight of the presentation was saved for last, when Karen demonstrated the obedience prowess of her competition Border Collie, Casey. Casey displayed utility level obedience skills, including focused attention, off-leash heeling, retrieving, and scent discrimination. Everyone enjoyed Casey’s performance, which further demonstrated the competency of CPT’s staff as well as our positive, motivational training methodologies.
