Comprehensive Pet Therapy, Inc. Trainers Work on New TV Show and Feature Film

Comprehensive Pet Therapy (CPT) Trainer Annette Redner recently returned from a 2 week stint in New York as an Animal Handler and Trainer on the set of Comedy Central’s new TV series “TV Fun House.” During her time on set, Annette worked with a multitude of animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, baby chicks, a rabbit, a goat, and a sheep! Look for Annette’s menagerie during the premiere of TV Fun House on Wednesday evenings beginning in December 2000.

CPT’s owner, Mark Spivak, just completed working as an Animal Trainer and his German Shepherd, Topper, appeared as a police canine in the upcoming feature film “Run Ronny Run” starring David Cross of Saturday Night Live.

“Run Ronny Run” is Mark’s second journey into the movie world. Mark worked as an Animal Trainer and performed as an Actor along with his dogs Akbar and Topper in the yet to be released major motion picture “Letters From A Wayward Son” starring Harry Connick, Jr. (Hope Floats) and Peter Posthlewaite (Usual Suspects, Animal Farm).

Since its inception in 1992, CPT has trained the dogs of over 14,000 Atlanta area customers. CPT offers group classes at six locations (Sandy Springs, Norcross, Sugar Hill, Cumming, Acworth, and Riverdale), in-home private lessons throughout the Atlanta metro area, and a unique boarding training program at 13 locations where customer dogs reside at a trainer’s home as opposed to a kennel. CPT Head Trainers have competed on world teams, placed in national competitions, won regional titles, and appeared frequently as behvioral experts on television news shows.
