If you compare the Intermediate Agility video below to the Oct 18 Beginner Agility post, you will immediately see that Mico has made great progress in his agility skills. Similarly, Bill has improved tremendously in his handling skills.
Upon graduation from Beginner Agility we expect dogs to achieve proficiency in all obstacles, except the teeter and weave poles. As you can see from this video, Mico has superb teeter. He is highly controlled and confident while navigating this very challenging apparatus.
In addition, Mico shows mastery of the pause table, with an excellent down, both up close and from a distance, and outstanding performance on the tire jump.

Private agility has no prerequisite, whereas group participation requires reliable off-leash obedience, graduation from Beginner Obedience or an equivalent (Intermediate preferred), and an amicable temperament amidst unfamiliar people and dogs.
