Deanne McDougall

Deanne McDougall’s first exposure to CPT was back in 1999, when she enrolled her Labrador Retriever, Dallas, in CPT’s group class and board train programs.  In 2002, Dallas qualified as a member of the CPT-trained Georgia Force Black and Blue Team.  The team of elite dogs fetched the kicking tee during Arena Football League games.  Deanne McDougall has since educated 3 additional dogs with CPT- Landry, Paris, and Texas.

Her 26-year experience as a CPT client motivated Deanne to apply for a posted position in the CPT office, after CPT’s Office Manager relocated to Tennessee.  CPT was ecstatic to obtain the opportunity to hire Deanne.

Deanne McDougall earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Psychology, with a minor in Adult and Adolescent Counseling, from Georgia College & State University.  Upon graduating college, Deanne entered the corporate world.  Deanne started as a Corporate Trainer.  She next lateraled to Human Resources, where she progressed to becoming RaceTrac Petroleum’s Director of Human Resources.

Her subsequent move was a more significant lateral.  Deanne left the corporate world to become a full-time mother.  Then, in 2024, with her children older, she re-entered the working world by taking a position in the CPT office.  Deanne enjoys bringing her dogs to work, engaging with CPT clients and their dogs, and administrating CPT office operations.

Deanne provides information on CPT services, consults with clients regarding which CPT service is best for their needs, schedules client private and board train appointments, enrolls clients in group class, maintains the CPT database, communicates with CPT’s training staff, and handles general admin and support functions.  Her passion for CPT and the benefits of CPT’s services permeates throughout Deanne’s work.  CPT is fortunate to have Deanne McDougall in the CPT office.
