Lisa Carroll has trained dogs seriously for 33 years and is entering her 28th year training for CPT. Lisa Carroll has achieved 2 AKC Companion Dog (CD) titles, with both a Sheltie and a German Shepherd, and 1 AKC Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title (including the prestigious Dog World Award and many ribbons and placements), with her Sheltie, Augie. She also has earned a Schutzhund I title with a German Shepherd and is participating in various forms of training with her new Dutch Shepherd, Rolex. In addition, Lisa is a licensed nurse.
Her husband, Jeff Carroll, has earned a Schutzhund II title with his German Shepherd, Phoenix, including a high-in-class and high-in-tracking placement. His Belgian Malinois, Pepe, was a celebrated Georgia state certified narcotics detection dog. As a canine team for the City of Cumming and the Georgia State Drug Task Force, Jeff and Pepe seized several hundred thousand dollars of narcotics.
Unfortunately, due to illness Jeff is physically unable to train. However, like fine wine, Lisa is better than ever. Moreover, Lisa has recruited a full-time assistant, Robin, who helps with the boarding and board training dogs.
Lisa Carroll continues to expand her training knowledge by attending seminars, including those conducted by Dieter Meyer, Jan Timmerman, Rik Wolterbeek, and Appie Kamps. Clients love the 15 bucolic acres where the dogs observe a menagerie of animals, including llamas, donkeys, goats, turkey, chickens, cats, and, of course, dogs. Lisa performs Boarding and Boarding Training services for CPT.
