Comprehensive Pet Therapy, Inc. Adds Two New Group Class Locations

Comprehensive Pet Therapy, Inc. (CPT), Atlanta’s largest and most respected pet training company is pleased to announce the commencement of a business partnership with Averill Animal Hospital (Marietta, GA) and Hog Mountain Animal Hospital (Dacula, GA). Averill Animal Hospital and Hog Mountain Animal Hospital provide small animal veterinary services for clients in Cobb and Gwinnett County respectively. Beginning in late July 2002, CPT will provide group and private pet training services at the aforementioned locations.

CPT’s presence will provide greater convenience for clients of Averill and Hog Mountain who previously had to travel greater distances to access pet training services. Similarly, the Averill and Hog Mountain facilities will provide greater convenience for CPT clients who presently travel to Sandy Springs, Acworth, Cumming, or Alpharetta, but would prefer a facility more proximal to their Cobb or Gwinnett home.

Mark Spivak, CPT’s President, “has always been impressed with the Averill and Hog Mountain hospitals. The veterinarians are outstanding and the facilities maintain beautiful architecture and well manicured landscaping. Our clients will thoroughly enjoy class at the two new locations. As Atlanta’s traffic worsens, geographic proximity becomes an increasingly important factor in consumer purchase decisions. Our relationship with Averill and Hog Mountain will increase CPT revenues while concurrently improving customer satisfaction.”

Dr. Paul Averill, Owner of Averill Animal Hospital, stated that “We are excited to include CPT Training as an additional service available to our clients. Moreover, veterinarians prefer working with well mannered pets. But most importantly, well trained pets don’t get sent to the humane society. They remain as long lasting clients, which makes our practice more rewarding.”

Dr. Jay Fulmer, Hog Mountain Animal Hospital, “has been seeking a training program at the Animal Hospital. However, few training companies exude the professionalism of CPT. We are extremely pleased to associate with a training company that shares our dedication to quality and service.”

Since its inception in 1992, CPT has trained the dogs of over 19,000 Atlanta area customers. CPT offers group classes at six locations, in-home private lessons throughout the Atlanta metro area, and a unique boarding training program at 14 locations where customer dogs reside at a trainer’s home as opposed to a kennel. CPT Head Trainers have competed on world teams, placed in national competitions, won regional titles, placed dogs in movies, and appeared as behavioral experts on television news shows.
